Digital Learning Day at Piedmont

Wow! What a day! The biggest thing I learned from this day is that there is so much amazingness happening in all the classrooms on any given day, you can't tweet it all. Here are just a few highlights:

Ms. McCarthy's hilarious rubric is perfect to help sixth graders create a project that doesn't 'taste like cardboard'!

Who says learning with tech means being isolated behind a screen? hese students use BYOT in a face-to-face battle game in Mr. Reddig and Mr. Parkins' class!

The iGenius Tech Helper Club has their first meeting at our Makerbot 3D printer.

The cafeteria decor is set for the Olympics QR Code Contest during our second annual Digi-Dine BYOT lunch. Students competed to research and submit answers to Olympics trivia questions in honor of Sochi 2014.

We can use our phones at lunch today? Yay!

This student chose to make a recipe book. Even on our old monitors, it still looks delicious!

Emma taught herself photo editing. She's kind of a big deal on Instagram- With tech, it is now possible to learn anything anytime anywhere.

This was the most enthusiastic focused team at DigiDine. They wanted to win that gold medal and worked together to do it!
