If you've made an awesome video (follow these video-making instructions if you want )
and you are old enough for a Youtube account, follow these instructions with parent permission to upload from an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Will be slightly different on android. You can also use Google Drive
If you have any trouble or if the video is long, I recommend uploading to YouTube via an app called YouTube Capture. It is great!
For non-educational or personal printing, you can order 3D prints of your designs on Shapeways
Print here at Shapways' create page: http://www.shapeways.com/creator/
Wouldn't it be amazing to just press a button and have any design you imagine appear right in front of you, already made?
That technology exists right now and Piedmont is cutting EDGE! We have a Makerbot Replicator 2 3D printer!http://youtu.be/AKTSdW7-H3Q
Steps to Use the 3Dprinter!
Go to Tinkercad, Make a Free account and design.
Makerbot recommends Tinkercad or 123Design but you can try these if you have other needs
You can also choose the ready-made designs you want to print at Thingiverse
This is Ms. Gurthie's place for students at Piedmont and elsewhere to find resources to fuel their passions. Besides making fun lesson ideas for teachers, I wanted this space to provide PD for students too!
