Hi students!

You will keep a portfolio of your BEST IB work while at Piedmont. This portfolio will be in your Google Drive and will prove that you are achieving progress in the IB criteria for each of the 8 areas the IB assesses.

To make your IB Portfolio, follow along with the video below (pause as needed) or read on to see the steps in writing:
Students aren't the only ones who keep portfolios of their work. The images below are from professional architect portfolios.

Sure you're still in middle school, but there's no reason you can't start making a positive digital footprint right now. We will start with your IB portfolio: a digital folder of your best work that you are proud to show off. Work that shows your growth in all the areas of IB.

Creating Your IB Portfolio: Step By Step:
  1. Create a folder in your Google Drive: Select New then Folder and name it “IB Portfolio  (your name)”. Click Create. (You will keep this folder through 8th grade)
  2. Open it. You will see a blank area that says drag files here
  3. WIth the IB portfolio open (See step 2) , Go to the blue "New" button again and select "Folder. " Name it "Individuals and societies - Your Name" and click "create." DO NOT OPEN IT just  keep working down the list until your IB PORTFOLIO has 8 Subfolders:
    1. Individuals and Societies - Your Name  (social studies)
    2. Language  and Literature- Your Name (English)
    3. Language Acquisition - Your Name (Spanish or French)
    4. Math -Your Name
    5. Science - Your Name
    6. Design -Your Name
    7. Physical and Health Education - Your Name
    8. Arts - Your Name
  4. Throughout the MYP, you will upload work samples and rubrics that show your growth as an IB student. I am available to help you do that if you don't know how or click the related post below.
