Love of Learning at Piedmont

Sixth graders made seventh and eighth graders throughout the school jealous with their Love of Learning presentations today. ( got a good quote from a 7th grader who noted Love of Learning is getting better every year!)
I filmed it and will post the video as soon as I edit it.
It was the single best educational event I have seen in my 25 years of teaching, and that includes the ones that I was in charge of!  I cannot say enough about how great the teachers and students were, and want to especially thank the organizers Ms. Suckstorff, Ms. Burick, and Ms. Lyttle. But also every sixth grade teacher and student and parent!

Everything from auto engines to handicrafts were on display. And since the topics were 100% student-chosen, passion was evident in each one.
