![]() And we WERE just speaking of chickens at Piedmont in case you forgot already about 7th Grade Science Chicken Wing day! But how could any chicken-based discussion be complete without mentioning the fantastic performance of the Piedmont Odyssey of the Mind team? Where else but Piedmont can you find multicultural chickens (including their cousin from Italy, Chicken Alfredo!) and a farmer with a Michael Jackson glove singing about the joys of a vegetarian dinner theater? And all to explain why the chicken crossed the road as part of the "Seeing is Believing" long -term problem competition! We are so proud of Coach Joyce Love and her creative team! These students built their own props, wrote their own scripts, created their own costumes, sang their own songs, choreographed everything and did a fantasic job. They took second place in style at the NCOM Central Region competition and we look forward to what mischeif they create next year.

Author"Celebrating Piedmont" logs only a small fraction of the learning magic the teachers of CMS' Piedmont Middle School, an IB World School. create daily. In that sense, it is authored by all the staff and students of Piedmont. It is curated by Ms. Gurthie who can be reached at the icons above. She'll be happy to brag about Piedmont's teachers and students any chance she gets! Please note this blog has only just begun and we have so much to show off! Come back again soon! |
