To complete the district assignment assigned to all CMS teachers:
The AL site seems to be overloaded so don't panic if you get a freeze even in Chrome or Firefox. It will be saved. If you accidentally did it in Explorer (if you clicked the link straight from the AL notification email it may have opened straight into Explorer) switch browsers and all will be fine. You will know you are done when it shows you your scores. AL will email you a link to training videos based on your scores within 24 hours or so of taking the test. I have watched the videos and can discuss them with you and talk about adaptations you may wish to try since the videos were made (pre iPad, less Ning, more Twitter, smartphone, instagram, backchannel, etc). Here is a walk-through of what you will see logging in if needed: Click here for directiions and password (CMS employees only- you must be signed in to Drive to read it) The password is written on the board in the media center or see Lisa Gurthie)
